Insurance Planning for Retirees and Pre-Retirees
Fixed annuity, long-term care and legacy insurance planning for Florida retirees and pre-retirees, with costs, surrender periods and tradeoffs explained.
The years just before and after retirement are when income, care costs and legacy questions become concrete. We help you evaluate whether a fixed or fixed indexed annuity, long-term care coverage or life insurance has a role in your plan, and what each would cost you in flexibility.
Questions worth answering before you retire
How much of your monthly spending do you want covered by predictable income sources? What would several years of care cost in Florida, and who would pay? Do you want to leave a specific amount to children or charity? Are older policies still needed?
How we help
We explain how fixed and fixed indexed annuities work, including surrender charges, caps, fees for optional riders and the claims-paying ability of the issuing carrier. We compare traditional and hybrid long-term care options. Investment and securities decisions are handled by your registered advisor, such as Noble Wealth Advisors, LLC, which is a separately operated firm.
Suitability & Limits
Annuity guarantees are backed by the issuing insurer's claims-paying ability.
Surrender charges may apply to early withdrawals.
Long-term care coverage is subject to underwriting and age limits.
Is a fixed annuity right for my retirement?
It can be for part of your savings if you value predictable income and principal protection more than liquidity. It is usually a poor fit for money you may need soon, because surrender charges can apply. We review your income needs before suggesting any contract.
When should I look at long-term care coverage?
Many people review it in their 50s or early 60s, when health is more likely to qualify and premiums tend to be lower than at older ages. Availability and pricing depend on underwriting.
Do you manage investments?
No. Noble Insurance Strategies is an insurance agency and does not provide investment or securities advice. We coordinate with your financial advisor or with Noble Wealth Advisors, LLC, a separately operated firm, when investment questions come up.
